West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has activated the “Registration & Choice Filling for JELET Counselling‑2025” link on the central admission portal: admissions.nic.in/WBJEEB .
Only candidates who have qualified JELET 2025 and are eligible as per the published merit list can now register, pay counselling fee and fill college/course choices for lateral entry into 2nd year B.E./B.Tech/B.Pharm programmes in participating institutes of West Bengal. [web:224][web:228][web:229]

Registration & Choice Filling – Step by Step
Step 1: Open JELET Counselling Portal
- Visit: admissions.nic.in/WBJEEB .
- Click on “Registration & Choice Filling for JELET Counselling‑2025” under Recent Events/Notifications. [web:233][web:229]
Step 2: New Registration
- Click on “New Candidate Registration” for JELET 2025 counselling.
- Enter JELET 2025 Application Number, Name, Date of Birth and security code as displayed. [web:224]
- Verify registered mobile number and email ID through OTP, if prompted.
- Create a strong password for subsequent logins and note it carefully. [web:231]
Step 3: Candidate Details Confirmation
- After login, check personal details (name, category, gender, domicile) fetched from JELET database.
- Enter/confirm communication address and contact details.

Step 4: Counselling Fee Payment
- Proceed to “Pay Counselling Fee” section.
- Pay the non‑refundable counselling fee (commonly around ₹500) using net banking, debit/credit card or UPI, as available on the portal. [web:224][web:231]
- Download/save the payment receipt for future reference.
Step 5: Choice Filling & Locking
- Open the “Choice Filling” page after successful payment.
- From the available list, select preferred colleges and branches (B.E./B.Tech/B.Pharm) and add them to your preference list. [web:224][web:227]
- Use the move up/down options to rearrange choices strictly in order of your preference (most preferred at top).
- Save choices frequently; after finalizing, click on “Lock Choices”.

Counselling Fee & Seat Acceptance
- Counselling Registration Fee: A non‑refundable fee (around ₹500) is payable online during registration. [web:224][web:230]
- Seat Acceptance/Admission Fee: After allotment, candidates have to pay institute‑level admission/seat acceptance fee as per college norms during reporting. [web:231][web:235]
- Failure to pay the required fee within the given time may result in cancellation of allotted seat.
Documents Required for Reporting

- 10th standard (Madhyamik) mark sheet and certificate (for date of birth).
