Current status: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended NEET PG 2025 Round 2 choice filling and locking deadline up to 12 December 2025 for all eligible candidates.
Reason for extension: The last date for resignation of Round 1 seats has been pushed to 10 December 2025, so the choice filling window for Round 2 has been aligned with the revised schedule.

Updated NEET PG 2025 Seat Matrix – Round 2
MCC has published an updated All India Quota (AIQ) and Deemed/ Central Universities seat matrix for NEET PG 2025 Round 2, reflecting clear vacancies, virtual vacancies and newly added seats.
- Total Round 2 seats: around 32,000+ PG seats across MD/MS, Diploma and DNB / NBEMS courses.
- Includes approximately 17,600+ clear vacancies, 11,800+ virtual vacancies, and about 2,600 newly added seats for Round 2.
- Seat matrix is published separately for AIQ, Deemed, Central Universities, AFMS and other participating institutions.
How to Fill & Lock NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Choices
- Go to the official MCC PG counselling website: mcc.nic.in.
- Click on “PG Medical Counselling” and select “NEET PG 2025”.
- Log in using your NEET PG roll number, password and security code.
- Click on “Choice Filling” and select colleges and courses (specialities) in your preferred order.
- Use the move up/down options to arrange preferences; add as many realistic options as possible.
- Click “Save & Continue” regularly; after finalizing, click “Lock Choices”.
- Download and print the locked choice slip for records; if you do not lock, the system may auto‑lock on the last date.
