Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Process Associate, your work will be divided into core financial operations and risk management:
1. Accounts Payable & Brokerage
- Process accounts and payments in strict compliance with financial policies.
- Verify, classify, and record accounts receivable/payable data.
- Setup execution fees in back-office systems and register broker invoices.
- Perform reconciliation of trades and fees; analyze and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Review and validate Give-Up Agreements (via Egus or hard copies).
2. Risk Control & Supervision
- Monitor daily activities against set goals and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Identify operational risks and suggest first-level controls to mitigate them.
- Perform break analysis and manage dispute resolutions efficiently.
3. Client & Stakeholder Interaction
- Liaise with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing or operational issues.
- Participate in client visits and conference calls.
- Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are updated and validated.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Domain Expertise: Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Global Equity Products, Fixed Income, and the Trade Life Cycle.
- Background: Prior experience in Brokerage, Settlement, or Middle Office Operations within an Investment Bank is highly favorable.
- Tools: Advanced skills in MS Excel are required.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle international stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to varying business requirements and working hours (shifts).
