The notification does not establish these apprentice positions as regular permanent IRCTC posts.

The final stipend applicable to each category should therefore be confirmed from the official notification or joining communication.

Training Duration

Training Period: 12 Months

Candidates selected under any of the four notified apprenticeship categories will undergo approximately one year of apprenticeship training as specified for the respective trade.

Applicants should understand that completion of apprenticeship does not automatically guarantee permanent employment with IRCTC.

Selection Process

There will be no written examination and no viva/interview for the notified apprenticeship engagement.

Selection will primarily be based on merit.

Merit List Preparation

The merit list will be prepared using the percentage of marks obtained by candidates in the Matriculation/Class 10 examination.

Where marks are provided through a grading system, conversion will be handled according to the prescribed method mentioned in the recruitment rules.
