Position Overview

Swiggy is looking for highly motivated individuals to join its engineering team as Associate Software Development Engineers (Android). In this role, you will help build and enhance the Swiggy Android application used by millions of users for food delivery, grocery ordering, and dining services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with senior Android developers to understand app architecture and codebase.
• Design, implement, and test new features and improvements.
• Integrate backend APIs for seamless data exchange.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best coding practices.
• Identify, debug, and resolve performance and functional issues.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and frameworks.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams.
• Contribute ideas to enhance user experience and app performance.
• Support maintenance and enhancement of existing app features.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
