Job Description

BMW TechWorks India is hiring a Junior Python AI Developer to join its advanced AI engineering team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge algorithms and help build next-generation intelligent software systems for future BMW vehicles.

The role involves designing, developing, and refining generative AI models that power innovative products and services. You will work in an international and interdisciplinary environment while leveraging advanced cloud infrastructure to process large-scale data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop generative AI models for innovative software solutions.
• Build scalable AI systems for automotive applications.
• Research and implement modern machine learning algorithms.
• Develop and refine generative models for text, image, and complex data generation.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to integrate AI models into products.
• Optimize model performance using fine-tuning and advanced AI techniques.
• Work with large datasets using modern cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Experience with generative model architectures such as GANs, VAEs, Transformers, LLMs, and SLMs.
• Experience with modern AI frameworks and machine learning tools.
• Understanding of generative AI techniques and fine-tuning methods.
• Knowledge of AI accelerator hardware.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI/ML research and development.
• Understanding of scalable AI system design.
• Knowledge of software development processes in the automotive industry.
• Strong communication skills with business-level English proficiency.

Education

• B.Tech / B.E in Engineering or related field.
• M.Tech, M.Sc, or PhD in relevant discipline is advantageous.
