Job Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Assisting customers with their banking needs and inquiries.
  • Clerical Duties: Performing routine clerical tasks such as data entry and document management.
  • Training Participation: Engaging in on-the-job training sessions to learn various banking operations.
  • Support Functions: Assisting in the implementation of banking products and services.

Salary and Benefits

  • Canara Bank Contribution: ₹10,500 per month
  • Government of India Contribution: ₹4,500 per month (credited through Direct Benefit Transfer)
💡 Note: Apprentices are not entitled to additional allowances or benefits. The stipend is provided to support apprentices during training.

Selection Process

Merit-Based ShortlistingCandidates will be shortlisted based on marks/percentage obtained in the 12th Standard (HSC/10+2) or Diploma Examination.
Document VerificationShortlisted candidates will undergo document verification to validate their educational qualifications and other credentials.
Local Language TestA test may be conducted to assess proficiency in the local language, depending on the region of posting.
