Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage electrical installations and wiring works on railway sites, ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Implement system design details for site-level electrical distribution, earthing, and instrumentation as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, signaling, and mechanical teams for integrated site execution.
• Monitor quality control, safety protocols, and statutory compliance on site.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover activities for traction/electrification and auxiliary systems.
• Maintain daily site reports, material requisitions, and as-built documentation.
• Troubleshoot on-site electrical issues and support preventive maintenance activities.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Prior experience on railway or infrastructure projects is preferred but freshers with relevant internships are welcome.
• Knowledge of electrical design drawings, BOQ, and site execution practices.
• Familiarity with safety standards, earthing practices, and protective devices used in railway systems.
• Good coordination and communication skills for stakeholder management.

Required Skills

• System design — ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.
• Manufacturing / site implementation — hands-on familiarity with cable routing, panel wiring, and installation practices.
• Basic knowledge of protective relays, transformers, LT/HT systems used in railways.
• Experience with electrical measurement tools (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester) and commissioning instruments.
• Proactive problem-solving and attention to safety and quality at site.
