Job Summary
HDFC Bank is conducting walk-in drives across West Bengal to hire Branch Sales Officers for Retail Branch Banking.
The role focuses on sourcing business from the open market, acquiring quality CASA accounts (Resident/Non-Resident),
fulfilling inbound leads, and generating cross-sales of financial products while strictly adhering to KYC/AML guidelines.
Responsibilities Sourcing business through open market activities: catchment working, cold calls, referrals, and internal databases. Acquire quality CASA accounts and ensure values in accounts opened by self. Fulfill CASA leads generated by other verticals and adhere to TAT commitments. Generate cross-sales: Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, Auto Loans, Personal Loans, Business Loans, Consumer Durables finance, etc. Ensure complete adherence to KYC/AML norms during onboarding and account servicing. Meet defined productivity and sourcing targets for self. Required Skills & Qualifications UG: Any Graduate. 0–4 years of experience in retail sales, branch banking, or business sourcing (freshers may apply). Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience in outbound sales and business sourcing preferred. Good understanding of KYC/AML regulations and compliance. Target-driven mindset and ability to work in a high-paced branch environment. Good to Have Prior experience in branch-level retail banking sales. Familiarity with CASA products and lead fulfillment processes. Knowledge of basic banking systems/CRM tools.
