The Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Pune, is engaging Young Professionals (YPs) to assist the department in legal research and case preparation before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT).

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Law Graduates: LLB (3-year or 5-year integrated) or LLM with at least 50% marks.
- OR Chartered Accountants (CA): Qualified CA.
- Preferred Experience: * CAs who completed articleship in Taxation.
- Law graduates with research experience in Taxation projects.
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years (as of the advertisement date).
- Skills: Strong communication, legal research, and ICT (Information & Communication Technology) skills.
Job Profile & Selection Process
What will a Young Professional do?
- Study case paper books and analyze judgments.
- Conduct legal research for cases pending before the ITAT.
- Prepare briefing notes and written submissions for the department.
How will they be selected?
- Screening: Applications will be shortlisted based on academic merit and taxation experience.
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview in Pune.
- Final Merit: Based on interview performance and professional profile.
