Scoring Methodology

Category-2 Questions +2 for all correct options; partial marks awarded for partially correct answers.
Unattempted Questions No marks for unattempted questions.

Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility Must be an Indian Citizen.
No upper age limit for Diploma holders in Engineering, Technology, D.Voc. or Pharmacy.
Upper age limit:
– 27 years for B.Sc./B.Voc. candidates (as on 31.12.2025)
– 25 years for Marine Engineering Diploma holders
Academic Qualification (Engineering/Technology) – Passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum 45% (40% for reserved categories)
OR B.Sc./B.Voc./D.Voc. in relevant fields with 45% (40% for reserved)
– For Jadavpur University: Minimum 60% (45% for reserved) required
Academic Qualification (Pharmacy) Passed Diploma in Pharmacy with 45% (40% for reserved categories) from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.

General (Male): ₹500
General (Female): ₹400
Third Gender: ₹300
SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD (Male): ₹400
SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD (Female): ₹300
SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD (Third Gender): ₹200
– Fee is non-refundable.
Correction Period Correction of limited fields available during the official correction window.

Facilities for PwD Candidates

Reservation As per Govt. of West Bengal norms: SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, and PwD categories eligible.
Valid and updated certificates must be presented during counselling.
Reservation applies only to domicile candidates of West Bengal.
Concessions / Special Provisions – 40% fee concession
– 20 minutes extra per hour during exam
– Option to use own scribe/reader with prior approval

Domicile Requirement

Domicile / Residency Requirement – Candidate must be a resident of West Bengal for at least 10 years or have parents permanently residing in West Bengal.
– Domicile certificate required in prescribed format (Proforma a1/b) signed by competent authority (DM/SDO/BDO, etc.).
