Overview
- JENPAS-UG 2026 is the Common Entrance Test for Undergraduate Nursing and Paramedical Allied Sciences courses in West Bengal conducted by WBJEEB.
- Courses include B.Sc. Nursing, BPT, BMLT, BHA, BOT, BVSO and other allied programmes as notified in the official bulletin.
- Applications are accepted online only through the official portal (wbjeeb.nic.in) within the notified schedule.
Exam Schedule
- Mode: OMR-based offline examination at designated centers.
- Papers: Paper-I (all courses except BHA) and Paper-II (BHA only), with the option to appear in one or both papers.

Questions are in English and Bengali except for English, General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning sections which are set only in English.
Syllabus
- Paper-I: Physics, Chemistry, Biology aligned with Class XI–XII level; Basic English and Logical Reasoning of senior secondary standard.
- Paper-II: Physical Science and Mathematics at Class X level; General Knowledge, Basic English, Logical Reasoning at senior secondary level.
Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: Indian nationals as specified in the bulletin.
- Domicile: West Bengal domicile requirements apply per course and category.
- Academic: Passed/appearing in 10+2 with required subject combinations and minimum aggregates as course-wise notified.
- Age: Minimum 17 years as on 31.12.2025 for applicable courses.
Reservation & Certificates
- Reservation for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS, PwD as per Government of West Bengal rules with valid certificates.
- Competent authorities and certificate formats must strictly follow the prescribed appendices.
Application Process
- Register online with valid mobile and email; primary data (name, parents’ names, DOB, domicile) are non-editable after submission.
- Upload recent color photograph (10–200 KB JPG/JPEG) and signature (4–30 KB JPG/JPEG) in the specified dimensions.
- Correction window is available for permitted fields only within the notified period.

Admit Card
- Download the admit card from the official portal within the notified date range and print a clear copy for entry to the exam center.
- Do not mutilate or tamper with the admit card; discrepancies must be reported within the specified window.
Counselling & Admission
- Rank cards are published individually; the counselling schedule and instructions are notified after result publication.
- Institute-wise and course-wise seat matrix is released before counselling; document verification is mandatory at the time of admission.
PwD Facilities
- Concessions include reduced application fee, compensatory time and scribe/reader provisions as per RPwD norms and Board approvals.
- Physical verification by designated government medical authorities is mandatory where specified for availing PwD benefits.
Document Verification
- Carry all original documents (admit card, rank card, confirmation page, marksheets, certificates) for verification at admission.
- Only officially issued originals/attested documents are accepted; incomplete or falsified records lead to cancellation of candidature.
