Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Install and commission new pharmaceutical machinery and ensure smooth integration.
• Maintain detailed installation, validation, and calibration reports for compliance.
• Connect and test utilities such as electrical, pneumatic, and water systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for tablet presses, granulators, blenders, and packaging lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults promptly.
• Manage spare parts inventory and material requisitions.
• Supervise or perform calibration of instruments to ensure precision.
• Coordinate with production teams for equipment optimization.
• Train operators in machine operation, safety, and cleaning protocols.
• Comply with GMP and safety guidelines in cleanroom environments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5–15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience in equipment installation and preventive maintenance.
• Good understanding of GMP guidelines and cleanroom practices.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read machine drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and calibration methods.
• Familiarity with utilities such as compressed air, water, and power systems.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and safety awareness.

Salary Package

The salary for this role starts from ₹30,000 per month and may vary depending on experience and interview performance. Additional benefits are offered as per company policy.
