Round 2 – Current Status
Choice Filling Extended: MCC has extended NEET PG 2025 round 2 choice filling and locking till December 12, 2025 at mcc.nic.in.
Counselling Mode: Online for All India Quota (50%), Deemed/Central Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, DNB/DrNB seats.
Last date for payment and choice locking is also aligned with the extended date; candidates must ensure final submission before server closes.

Registration & Choice Filling – How To
Step 1: Registration on MCC Portal
- Visit mcc.nic.in.
- Select PG Medical Counselling 2025 section.
- Click on New Registration for Round 2 (if not registered earlier).
- Enter NEET PG 2025 Roll Number, Application Number, DOB, and other details.
- Generate login credentials and pay the required counselling & security fee.
Step 2: Choice Filling & Locking
- Login using your credentials and go to Choice Filling page.
- Select preferred colleges and courses (MD/MS/DNB) in order of priority.
- Use the Move Up/Down options to arrange preferences.
- Click on Save & Continue frequently to avoid data loss.
- Finally click Lock Choices before deadline; take a print of locked choices.
Once choices are locked, they cannot be edited. If you do not lock manually, the system may auto-lock the last saved choices at the deadline.
Documents Required for Reporting
- NEET PG 2025 Admit Card & Score Card.
- Provisional/Final MBBS Degree Certificate and Mark Sheets (1st to Final Prof.).
- Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate (MCI/NMC/State Medical Council).
- Internship Completion Certificate (on or before the specified cut-off date).
- Class 10 & 12 Mark Sheets (for DOB proof).
- Valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar/Passport/PAN/Driving Licence).
- Category Certificate (OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwD) in prescribed format, if applicable.
- Allotment Letter downloaded from MCC portal.
- Passport size photographs (same as NEET PG application).
- Demand draft / fee payment proof as per college instructions.
Important Counselling Rules
- Upgradation: Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 and joined can opt for upgradation in Round 2.
- Free Exit: Generally not allowed after Round 2; rules differ by quota, so read MCC brochure carefully.
- Resignation: Resignation from Round 2 seat may not be permitted after a certain cut-off; bond/penalty may apply.
- State vs MCC: MCC counselling is separate from state PG counselling; participation in one does not automatically cancel the other unless you join and submit original documents.
- Document Verification: Any mismatch in category, internship date, or eligibility can lead to cancellation of allotted seat at college level.
