Domain-Specific Vacancies & Roles

RITES is looking for experts in three distinct technical areas:

  1. IT / Network & Security (VC: RG/08/26): Focuses on Firewall configuration (HA), VPN, SDWAN, and compliance with the DPDP Act.
  2. IT / Programming (VC: RG/09/26): Focuses on SDLC, Object-Oriented Programming, and SAP S/4 HANA (ABAP/FIORI).
  3. IT / Data Centre (VC: RG/10/26): Focuses on Windows/Linux Server admin, VMware/Hyper-V virtualization, and Data Centre Infrastructure Management (BMS/UPS).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:
    • B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related branches.
    • Marks: Minimum 60% for UR/EWS (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience (Internships and teaching experience are not counted).
  • Age Limit: Maximum 32 years (as of 27.04.2026). Standard Govt. relaxations apply (SC/ST: 5yrs, OBC: 3yrs).

Selection Process (Weightage System)

The final merit list is prepared using a 60:40 weightage ratio:

  1. Written Test (60%):
    • 125 Objective questions | 2.5 Hours | No Negative Marking.
    • Centers: Kolkata, Delhi/Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati.
  2. Interview (40%):
    • Technical & Professional Proficiency (30 Marks).
    • Personality & Communication (10 Marks).
