Result Status & Highlights

Result timeline: SSC CGL 2025 Tier 1 result is scheduled to be released in December 2025 on the official website ssc.gov.in.

Mode of result: The Commission will first publish a PDF merit list of shortlisted candidates, followed by a separate scorecard/marks link for individual candidates.

The Tier 1 merit list will carry roll numbers, names, categories and normalized scores of candidates who qualify for the Tier 2 examination.

How to Check Tier 1 Result & Scorecard

A. Download Merit List PDF

  1. Visit the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in.
  2. Click on the “Result” section on the homepage.
  3. Open the CGL tab and find the link titled “Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025 – List of Candidates Shortlisted for Tier 2”.
  4. Download the PDF and search your Roll Number/Name using the Ctrl+F function.

B. Check Individual Scorecard

  1. Go to ssc.gov.in and log in with your OTR ID and password.
  2. Navigate to the “Result/Marks” or candidate dashboard marks section.
  3. Select “CGL 2025 Tier 1” from the list of exams.
  4. View and download your section‑wise and overall normalized scores and save a PDF copy.
The scorecard is usually available for a limited period, so candidates should download and store it as soon as the link becomes active.

In‑hand salary includes basic pay plus DA, HRA and TA, and varies with city category (X, Y, Z) – higher for metro postings and slightly lower for smaller cities and towns.

Next Stage – Tier 2 & Final Selection

  • Candidates who qualify Tier 1 as per category‑wise cut‑off will be eligible to appear for Tier 2, which is the main stage for merit preparation.
  • Final selection and post allocation will be based on combined normalized scores of Tier 1 and Tier 2, subject to preference, vacancy and category reservation rules.
  • Candidates should preserve their Tier 1 admit card, application and scorecard for document verification and future reference.
