Developer Job in Chennai | IT New Age Banking Technology

Job Purpose

The Developer will create and deliver software modules (new requirements or fixes) for various banking requirements while resolving critical business challenges for internal and external customers. This role is a key contributor to the technology organization and is responsible for maintaining the engineering platform and executing product development against delivery commitments and project plans.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Engage with development teams to identify technical roadblocks and recommend solutions.
• Help shape technology stack and architecture for new features and applications.
• Design, analyze, and develop interfaces and integration flows.
• Perform programming, software development, code reviews, bug fixing, testing, and documentation.
• Work with GoLang and microservices-based architectures.
• Develop and deploy native code for customer-facing platforms.
• Explain complex technical issues to stakeholders in a clear and simple manner.
• Apply integration design patterns for middleware systems.
• Contribute to multi-vendor architecture discussions and solution formulation.
• Design system specifications, standards, and programming solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues and deliver timely bug fixes.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Knowledge of security, logging, auditing, and policy management.
• Monitor performance metrics and KPIs for end-to-end processes.
• Provide status updates and delivery metrics to program leadership.
• Support on-time and on-budget project delivery.

Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks and manage development activities across project stages.
• Own development quality and ensure thorough quality control.
• Mentor junior developers and support skill development.
