Job Summary
Axis Bank is hiring Relationship Officers for their MAB POS product (Swiping Machine) across multiple locations in Bangalore and surrounding cities. The role involves acquiring and servicing merchants, onboarding POS devices, ensuring merchant satisfaction, and driving POS adoption and transactions. Attractive fixed pay with performance-linked incentives. Fresher candidates with strong sales aptitude or those with 1 year of banking sales experience are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities Engage with merchants to explain POS solutions and onboard them onto Axis Bank’s payment acceptance platform. Install and demo POS devices and ensure smooth activation and training for merchants. Drive transactions and usage by educating merchants on features like QR, EDC, and mPOS. Provide post-sales servicing, troubleshooting and timely escalation to technical teams. Meet targets for merchant acquisition, activation and transaction volume. Required Skills & Qualifications Any degree or PUC. Graduation not mandatory. Fresher or 1 year experience in banking sales or field sales preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills with a sales mindset. Comfortable traveling to merchant locations and working in field environments. Ability to explain technical/payment concepts to non-technical users. Good to Have Prior experience in merchant acquiring, POS sales or payment solutions. Familiarity with POS/Electronic Data Capture (EDC) devices and mPOS applications.
