Amazon is looking for energetic individuals to join the Relay Operation Center (ROC). This is a high-impact operational role where you will manage real-time transportation exceptions across global networks (North America and Europe).

Key Roles & Responsibilities

As a Transportation Specialist, you are responsible for the smooth flow of goods. Your day-to-day tasks involve:

  • Exception Management: Monitoring freight movement and stepping in when a truck is late, a driver is lost, or weather disrupts the route.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinating between Carriers (trucking companies), Vendors, and Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FC).
  • Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Ensuring freight is picked up on time (Inbound) and customer orders leave the warehouse to meet the delivery promise (Outbound).
  • Data Analysis: Using internal tools and Excel to identify trends in delays and proposing process improvements to automate tactical problems.

Candidate Requirements

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills are mandatory (you will be communicating with international drivers and stakeholders).
  • Flexibility: Since ROC supports NA (North America) and EU (Europe) regions, you must be willing to work in rotational shifts (24/7, 365 days).
  • Technical: Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to take quick, data-driven decisions under time constraints.
